Thank you for being a Table Captain at Discover the Magic. Your willingness to bring your friends, colleagues and family to this event and their generosity in sharing their time with us, means more to our agency and the children we serve than I can adequately express.
 
I have attended several of these events, and can tell you that this breakfast was unique in the level of emotional response from our guests. While many of those who attended were familiar with the Big Brothers Big Sisters brand and what we do, the opportunity to experience the power of mentoring first hand created a much deeper level of understanding and connection to our mission.
 
As a result, we raised more than $40,000 in pledges and donations in a single hour. But just as important, was the opportunity to share our vision of a stronger community through mentoring, with the belief that we are an agency that can make a real and lasting change in children's lives and subsequently, the entire community. It is my hope that each of your guest will be spreading the word of Big Brothers Big Sisters throughout Central Ohio.
