Gregory P. Schenk, SIOR, The Schenk Company
Gregory Schenk, Co-Chair of SIOR tenant rep committee
since 2006, has been volunteering as a quest lecturer
for The Ohio State University’s Athletic to
Entrepreneur program since its inception to both the
freshman/sophomore class and junior/senior class on a
quarterly basis.
Through this program, Greg shares his business expertise
with the students as needed and follows up by email to
help with job and internship placement, as well as
suggestions for philanthropic endeavors. About 50
students per quarter participate in this program.
Greg says, “My goal in this program is to give students
and student athletes a good foundation to learn and grow
and be all they can be. I know I wish I had a mentor in
school so if I can help them get a job connection or
influence them to do the things they need to do that is
wonderful.”
Greg is also on the board of CURE, which assists
children with Cancer, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior
Achievement, Fore Hope, Children’s Hospital and The
Evans Scholarship program as well as being a proud
father of a three and a half year old son. |

One Good Move
Small Business News
by Andria Segedy
- May 2000 |
|
 |
In a bull market for
business growth, who has time to find a larger location
to accommodate a larger staff? Your focus is on business
growth, not business location.
For Bob Fisher, president and CEO of FORESIGHT Corp., the
solution came in using a tenant representative when he
needed to move his rapidly growing 10-year-old
e-commerce business. The best part: Using a tenant rep
didn't cost him a thing. |
